I STARTED BULLET JOURNALING

If you know me, you’ll know that I never go anywhere without my diary/planner. This because I am constantly juggling so many balls that without it I would be lost. I know that lots of people opt for utilising the calendar on your phone for to keep track of your life, but for me I have to be able to see my month laid out in front of me. My motto is ‘if it’s not in the diary, then I’m not going’ and I have tried many different styles of diary over the year with nothing really meeting all the needs I have for one. I then came across bullet journaling and thought why not give it a try.

JOINING AAODS COMMITTEE

It’s no secret that theatre and amateur dramatics have played a huge role in my life and are one of my biggest passions. I spent every year from age 8 to age 18 in a local theatre society and since moving back to Abergavenny after uni, it has been something I have wanted to get back involved with. Last year as I eased into my life as a graduate, I decided to just participate in Pantomime whilst I found my bearings but missed the experience of putting on musicals greatly. That is why when the opportunity arose to join the AAODS committee I jumped at the chance to be a part of this society again.

A WEEKEND IN WORCESTER

I have been so quiet on this blog lately – I feel like lockdown sucked away my motivation for most things and writing blogs would mean I would have to address the fact that our trip to Florida was cancelled and lots of other things have been going wrong. However, I spent the weekend with some of my closest friends and the absence of the blog was noted so what better way to kick start regular blogging than with documenting this weekend!

ONE DOWN, ONE TO GO

Hello again. I hope lockdown is treating you all well – I am slowly getting over my lockdown blues and am determined to contribute to this blog more regularly again so, despite life being a bit shit, I’m not missing an important part of my life on here. So, yesterday I received my final grade for my first year of the MSc in Clinical Psychology I am completing at the University of South Wales. In my January recap blog, I shared my progress from the first semester and it feels like I have been waiting forever to finally know how I did in semester 2 and overall for my first year. READING RECPAP: WHAT I READ IN APRIL & MAY

Hello again. Hope lockdown life is treating everyone as well as it can. I know I haven’t been blogging much recently but honestly the current climate has just been getting me down and I’ve just buried my head in work and study for the past two months. However, one positive thing to come out of isolation is that I’ve rekindled my love of reading, so I thought I would share what I’ve been reading over the past two months with some mini book reviews. LEADING LADIES I WOUD LOVE TO PLAY

Hello again. I know it’s been forever since I’ve blogged but honestly the global crisis we find ourselves in with Corona has been taken its toll and I’ve had zero motivation for anything. However, I’m trying to get out of my unproductive slump by focusing on all the things I have time for now that I didn’t before. I’ve been doing one of those ’30 day song challenges’ (don’t moan, I genuinely love finding out about people’s music taste etc) and one of them is a Broadway/West End themed one. Today’s theme is ‘a song from your dream role’ and seems as I couldn’t pick just one, I thought I would write a post all about my dream theatre roles in hopes they may one day come true! DISNEY DINING PLAN PROS

As I’m writing this it is officially just 176 days until our trip to Florida and we are beyond excited! As I mentioned in my first post about our trip, we are on the Disney Dining Plan for the duration of our stay and this week we were able to book all of the sit down meals we wanted whilst we are away. This blog is going to be jam packed (and super long) sharing all the details of the dining plan and what we were able to book.  Continue reading “DISNEY DINING PLAN PROS”
