If you’ve read my last post, then you’ll know that Alex and I are back in our local pantomime company and are part of their next production of Aladdin! I can’t believe that this time next week the show will be well underway and we will have an audience to showcase all our hard work to. Continue reading “PANTO UPDATE”

It still feels so weird that we are in 2020! I don’t know about you, but it always takes me a while to get used to the new year date and am forever writing the wrong year down. Having said that, I am so glad that 2019 is over and the first month of 2020 has been very kind to me. As lots happened, I thought I would pop everything into a little life update post. This will probably be a lengthy one – don’t say I didn’t warn you. Continue reading “LIFE UPDATE: JANUARY RECAP”

Hello and happy February everyone! January was a pretty full on month for me where lots of great things happened – I turned 22, saw the Jonas Brothers, got a promotion amongst other things. I think I’ll do a January recap soon that covers everything in detail. However, the highlight of the month has to be my Christmas present from Alex which was a trip to London to see Hamilton! I know I am a little bit late to be jumping on the new year bandwagon, but I’ve been doing a lot of thinking recently (dangerous I know) and I’ve come to a few conclusions about myself and my life. Each year I do usually participate in some resolutions or small changes that I would like to implement for myself that usually fizzle out in a few months. I am hoping that writing this post will give me some closure on what I consider the worst year of life. It’s frustrating because this year I have achieved some many amazing things but I feel like the negative experiences continuously overshadow the good. However, I am also writing this to celebrate my achievements and pave the way for what I know is going to be an amazing 2020. Continue reading “A LOOK BACK AT 2019”

If you read my Christmas 2019 blog then you’ll know that this Christmas has honestly been the best ever and I cannot stress that enough. To quote Mary Poppins it was ‘practically perfect in any way.’ Aside from spending time with all of my family, my favourite part about Christmas is giving gifts that I know people are going to love. Continue reading “WHAT I GOT/GAVE FOR CHRISTMAS 2019”

Hello again! So firstly, let’s address how blogmas well and truly died a death. I finished work and then went to London for the weekend (blog post pending) and time just ran away from me to create blogmas content. If I’m honest, I was also struggling a little bit before Christmas and was finding it hard to summon motivation for anything let alone writing posts. However, now that my favourite day of the year has been and gone, I am excited to document it to look back and remember the best Christmas ever! Continue reading “CHRISTMAS 2019”
