First blog post of 2021 and all about the day I turned 23 in the middle of a global pandemic. I’ve always looked forward to my birthday as it’s the one day of the year where I quite enjoy the fuss I otherwise try to avoid. This year wasn’t looking like it was going to be much of a day, but I have to say it was one of my fave birthdays ever.

So I have finally gotten round to writing this post after almost a month! I’ve been so busy with the start of the new semester and Loco starting back up that getting round to this post has taken much longer than I thought! Without further ado, I will go ahead and share with you all the lovely things I was lucky enough to receive for my 21st birthday! Continue reading “WHAT I GOT FOR MY 21ST BIRTHDAY”

When I think about it, 2018 was a really big year for me personally. I feel like I really found myself as a person (cliche I know) and finally gained a bit of self confidence. I also made some of the most amazing friendships and overcame obstacles that at the time seemed like impossible task. Continue reading “A YEAR IN MY LIFE: 2018”

Just like that my third and final fresher’s week has come and gone! It’s bittersweet really as I know that my time at uni is coming to an end this year but I’m also going to miss living the carefree student life during freshers week. This has been a whirlwind of a week and has been sooo busy I’ve barely had time to stop and think, so I thought I’d write this blog to reflect on a fab final freshers.  Continue reading “A FAB FINAL FRESHERS”

Hello! I am sorry it’s been so long since my last post, describing uni as stressful would be an under statement at the moment! Everything seems to be going to wrong lately and I’ve been feeling extremely overwhelmed and pretty down. However, I knew I had a weekend at home to look forward too and it was definitely worth the wait. My lovely Nanny Jenny turned 70 today and my family have been planning a surprise meal for her since the start of the year! Continue reading “SURPRISE 70TH BIRTHDAY BASH”

We saw the evening performance that began at 7pm which was a full house. We have wanted to see this show ever since it started as Shrek is one of our favourite animated films. As we are so busy during term time, I also thought it would be nice to get away for the evening and watch some theatre together. Here’s what we thought of the show… Continue reading “SHREK THE MUSICAL: REVIEW”
