ONE DOWN, ONE TO GO

Hello again. I hope lockdown is treating you all well – I am slowly getting over my lockdown blues and am determined to contribute to this blog more regularly again so, despite life being a bit shit, I’m not missing an important part of my life on here. So, yesterday I received my final grade for my first year of the MSc in Clinical Psychology I am completing at the University of South Wales. In my January recap blog, I shared my progress from the first semester and it feels like I have been waiting forever to finally know how I did in semester 2 and overall for my first year. LIFE UPDATE: THE START OF THE NEXT CHAPTER

I’m not sure why it has taken me so long to write this post but now I’ve come to it I realise that my life is so different now and it’s only just started to sink in. Although I am still waiting for my graduation to come around (and until then I won’t be able to properly let go of uni at Worcester), the next chapters of my life is very much underway. THE WEDDING SINGER

So as I am writing this it has almost been one whole week since our first performance of The Wedding Singer and I honestly have no idea where the time has gone. I don’t think I’ve quite processed that the show or my time in Loco has come to an end (and I’m going to write a separate post bidding Loco farewell when I am emotionally stable enough) but here is a look back at my last show with my beloved Loco Show Co. Prepare for lots of pics.

I’ve been a bit quieter than usual on here lately and that’s because third year is really taking its toll on me. I have so much to do in so little time and I am finding myself using every single second of the day in order to get everything done! A lot of people that know me say that they don’t know how I manage to fit in everything so I thought I would document a little ‘week in my life.’ Continue reading “A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF A THIRD YEAR PSYCHOLOGY STUDENT”

MUSICALS AND ME

Apparently today marks National Theatre Day and seeing that pop up on my newsfeed this morning just made me smile! I mentioned in my previous post that some stuff has being going on recently that has made me feel pretty defeated and down – a lot of the situation revolves around my theatre society and some problems we’ve been having. However, reflecting on all the wonderful experiences and memories that theatre has given me throughout my life has helped motivate me continue and rise above the negativity that is surrounding me at the moment. WHAT I GOT FOR MY 21ST BIRTHDAY

So I have finally gotten round to writing this post after almost a month! I’ve been so busy with the start of the new semester and Loco starting back up that getting round to this post has taken much longer than I thought! Without further ado, I will go ahead and share with you all the lovely things I was lucky enough to receive for my 21st birthday! Continue reading “WHAT I GOT FOR MY 21ST BIRTHDAY”
