It feels as though I have been waiting forever to write the post but the day finally came – I am officially a psychology graduate from the University of Worcester! I honestly cannot begin to describe how amazing yet challenging the past three years have been but the fact that I got to walk up on that stage and graduate in front of my family was a dream come true. Naturally, this post is going to be a lengthy one all about graduating and the things I did to celebrate leading up to the big day! Continue reading “I GRADUATED!”

Hello again! As per usual I have gone quite on here as life takes over and blogging takes a back seat. A lot has changed over the past few weeks so I thought I would document a little life update to look back on and let you know what I am up to. Continue reading “LIFE UPDATE: WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?”

So as I am writing this it has almost been one whole week since our first performance of The Wedding Singer and I honestly have no idea where the time has gone. I don’t think I’ve quite processed that the show or my time in Loco has come to an end (and I’m going to write a separate post bidding Loco farewell when I am emotionally stable enough) but here is a look back at my last show with my beloved Loco Show Co. I cannot believe that I only have three weeks left of my final year of university! I honestly don’t know where the past three years have gone. I’ve been a bit quieter than usual on here lately and that’s because third year is really taking its toll on me. I have so much to do in so little time and I am finding myself using every single second of the day in order to get everything done! A lot of people that know me say that they don’t know how I manage to fit in everything so I thought I would document a little ‘week in my life.’ Continue reading “A WEEK IN THE LIFE OF A THIRD YEAR PSYCHOLOGY STUDENT”

Apparently today marks National Theatre Day and seeing that pop up on my newsfeed this morning just made me smile! I mentioned in my previous post that some stuff has being going on recently that has made me feel pretty defeated and down – a lot of the situation revolves around my theatre society and some problems we’ve been having. However, reflecting on all the wonderful experiences and memories that theatre has given me throughout my life has helped motivate me continue and rise above the negativity that is surrounding me at the moment. Continue reading “MUSICALS AND ME”

Well if you asked me 12 months ago if I would be writing this post I would have said you were mad, but here we are again! I don’t think I’ve actually shared this with you all yet but I am back doing my old role as musical director again for my musical theatre society as we perform ‘The Wedding Singer’ in May! As a result, this weekend was spent watching some super talented people audition and ultimately putting the cast together for our performances. Continue reading “CASTING A MUSICAL #2”
